Haslam, Ramsey and Harwell to Convene Education Summit
Governor Haslam, Speaker Harwell and Lt. Gov Ramsey are convening an education summit for “key stakeholders of K-12 education” from across the state. The event, entitled Tennessee’s Education Summit: Progress of the Past, Present and Future, is to be held in Nashville on Thursday, September 18.
So what is the problem with this? Well the “key stakeholders” only include Common Core supporters. Further, the public has not been invited to have their voices heard. It is obvious that Governor Haslam does not care what Tennessee parents have to say.
Well let’s give them all an ear full.
Please join "Tennessee Against Common Core" for a rally to be conducted outside the Education Summit meeting location.
