Our Committees
Steering - Oversees the Tri-Cities Tea Party - 9/12 Project Group - Two organizers and five to seven others will meet at least twice a month. They will screen any potential speakers and decide on each month's agenda.
Election - Identify all candidates in our area, the job they seek, their qualifications and their beliefs. Arrange for local candidates to participate in an "Election Flea Market", or speak at one of the meetings.

Events - Coordinate events for: April 15th, July 4th, Labor Day, Election Day and a Christmas Tea Party for members. Sometimes these events will include planning bus trips to be a part of larger groups to express discontent with Big Government. (Rallies to Protest or Support)

Education - Focus on the Constitution. Sponsor classes to teach the Constitution and review books for recommendation to the tea party members.

Public Relations and Media - Involving our community with our tea party - 9/12 project group. This committee will focus on getting the media to advertise our events, meetings, and making public statements which is the voice of our group.

Fund Raising - Concentrate on raising money from businesses, group yard sales, and t-shirt sales. These funds will be for purchasing literature, education materials and for the travel expenses of guest speakers or teachers.

Outreach - Expand our local Tea Party and help others. Distributing flyers about our beliefs to Churches, Ruritan Clubs and other community groups to encourage their members to join us.
